One other thing to mention was I noticed some damp on the drivers side A pillar which I suspected was the seal on the front windscreen which needs to be redone. I keep the car in the garage so it stays dry.
I'll put some more photos and service record etc on here shortly.
After almost 12 years ownership it's time to sell my beloved Audi S3 as it has become a little impractical with a family. It needs a good home with someone who has the time to give it some attention.
The car is located in Rugby, UK and has just ticked over 229000 miles. It has an MOT to the end...
Apologies if there's something on here already, there are lots of posts to sift through.
A cab driver reversed into my front end last night so I need to get a price to replace the front bumper. Any help with a Part Number and/or cost would be a great help.
Cheers, Chris
Just got in my S3 and switch the engine on, when I pressed the clutch to put into gear the pedal drops straight it and doesn't return. Checked under the car and there's a clear leak of something. What would the problem be and how can I sort it? Help please..
Had a corrosion problem with my power steering cooling pipe which runs across the front of the enginer bay. I need a new part which audi have quoted £220 + VAT for. Any help sourcing a more affordable pipe as this is high to me?
Thanks in advance.
Someone helped me a while ago with the replacement of a window clip as the glass was slipping when returning up. Can anyone help as I can't search the forum and have lost the original guide.
Cheers!

Water found in the pre turbo inlet and the air filter. A slight amount of water (less than half a cup) had got into engine and was unable to compress. This stripped the cam belt (8000 miles old) of a large amount of teeth. In turn with the engine...
Tuffty thanks for your response, I wasn't going to rise to the bait so to speak!
I have another garage looking so I will let the piranahas know what happened.
Cheers,
As I'm not a mechanic myself I have to go on the response from the experts. The mechanic I go to only deals with high performance cars so I have to trust him somewhat.
