I've got an annoying squeak on my 01 s3 and can't find where it's coming from! Please help! It's only happens when on part throttle in any gear, like 5 cm on the peddle. Any more or less and it's not there. I can't replicate it when not moving and it sounds like it's coming from the wheel...

Does anyone have the s3 2001 inner cv boot part number and also the cv joint as I'm not sure how long it's been split for? Would the inner cv joint rumble if it's stuffed or just click when turning like the outer ones? Cheers

Lost a bolt from the exhaust manifold / turbo join, can anyone help with the part number please, car sounds like a tractor! Audi couldn't find it as they said it was a stud and nut?

Just noticed that oil has been squirting out of the dipstick holder recently on my amk s3. I have a catch can vented to air, so how can it cause enough pressure to push oil out?? Does this sound like the start of some bad news :(

Its behind the red triangle above the stereo. Its from the same place that makes the tick tock for the indicator noise.

Recently my 8l s3 has been making a strange screeching type noise every so often from behind the dash. By accident managed to find if you hold the indicator stalk down a tiny bit, so the indicator does not actually come on it makes the noise. It seems to be doing it more often now too? Anyone...

Could you get away with 5 mm spacers and just use the normal wheel bolts? I like that fingermouse, what wheels are they!?

You sure they are broken, pull it out and have a look at the rubber sleeve that fits onto the adjuster. I was just about to buy a new one but pulled the rubber back on and it works better than ever!

Yeah I just wondered why it doesn't slip again for a day after I switch over?

I've got an APR mapped s3 and on full boost the clutch slips in most gears, but if I switch the map off for a couple of days and drive with the oem map when I switch back it doesn't slip. If the clutch is worn, should it slip 'all the time'? Or would it slip more when warm and using mapped...
