Surely the golf R can't be so much better than not only the s3 but also the rs3? Ignoring the times, the guy just seems to be smiling more in the golf bits.
I mean, its practically the same car as the s3 so how have they set it up so much better?
Good work. I didn't think the morph of the front was working then i realised it was actually just that the car has changes so little :)
Interior morph is good as well. I know h5djr has said a few times that he doesn't like the new interior. I felt the same but my complaint was that it hadn't...
Agree 100% on the all leather. Alcantara/leather is the best seat fabric combination. It really annoys me that some manufacturers don't offer this combination. It also annoys me that manufacturers don't include heated seats as standard with leather full leather (which I would never spec anyway)...
Funny how it sounds like I'm trying to sell it to you :) In real it I agree, the interior is the biggest problem area for me as well. Different reason though, I felt the interior in my 8P was the one area that really felt like it had been designed nearly 10 years ago and I think the new interior...
They would probably change the seats for you as well. When I was at my dealership last week they showed me the only S-Line they had in. It was awaiting collection from it's new owner and it had one modified seat for the new owners disabled wife and what appeared to be an SE seat on the drivers...
You can get the S-Line but opt for the standard suspension so it feels more or less like an SE.
I went in to my local dealership last week to ask about the new Sportback as it appeared on the website last week. I'm not sold on the engine options at the moment, the 2.0tdi 150 doesn't hold much...
Did he sell it quite easily and was it local? Probably an easy sell for him what with having the garage. I'm sure I've seen you about now.
I've bought a Boxster S for some summer fun. The wife isn't too happy so need to buy her a Nissan cashcow to keep her happy.
Time to move on so planning on putting my car up for sale as soon as i sort pics out (this weekend if it stays dry).
I've checked autotrader and the guides and prices seem to be anywhere between £6k and £11k. The bottom being right sheds that have been driven to the moon and back on a daily...
Spoke to the (audi specialist) garage that did the brakes and they said it's most likely the caliper needs replaced.
Looks like another expensive month with this car. Balls!
Put the car in for it's MOT this morning. Garage just called to say that it's failed on the handbrake. They said the failure point is 15% and mine is showing 14%. They said it could just be that the caliper needs a clean but won't know until they have a look.
I had the rear brake discs and...
Cheers. I'll check Motorwerks out.
When I got my cambelt and water pump done I used DeutschTek. I spoke to A for Audi but they were more expensive and meant getting a train or taxi for work. Deutschtek (not sure of exact spelling) are city centre based so very handy if you work in the city...
A3's have a kind of rough paint on the sills so it is indeed normal.
Orange peel effect isn't something that occurs over time anyway. It is something that is present in most finishes nowadays due to the way cars are now dipped and the fact that paint no longer contains lead which gave it a much...
I've only spoke to them when I got the cambelt and water pump done on my A3. Didn't go with them though as it wasn't convenient for work. I wasn't aware that they could supply Milltek.
Will be replacing my rear discs and pads this coming weekend hopefully and just wondered if anyone out there could confirm 2 of the tools required.
The first is the bit required for removal of the carrier. It looks like another one of those 12 point spline jobies, does anyone know what size? I...
