    New clutch fitting problem

    I got an ESC stage 1 clutch and light weight flywheel for my 1999 A3 1.8T Got the gearbox out and new clutch fitted no problem. I now have the gear box about 10-15mm from where it should be and it will not slide towards the engine. It's square and I can get long bolts through all the holes...
