I have to say on this one that audi should have forced the issue on repairing this fault when it was first noted. If you point blank refused to have it sorted then to be honest it is your fault. Anything broken on a car is going to affect it in some way.
At the end of the day they knew what would happen if it was left like that. So as far as I can see you shouldn't be paying a thing. They are the ones who ****** up.
Iv just had my fly wheel replaced gearbox overhauled drivshaft replaced and cv boot changed. All in all cost 1700 in just parts...
Yeah sure, no harm in doing it that way. If I'm honest id move away from coilovers (unless you like it super low) and go bilstein or koni. Unfortunately it's just one of those things with coilover kits.
Speak to DPM can't remember the dudes name but always been very helpful over the years...
I wouldn't replace anything else in that case bud. Get it stripped down and give it the once over. Without hearing it for myself though I couldn't safe for definite.
Ah well that's what it might be. I've had 4 sets of coilovers on different caravan over the years varying in cost and if I'm honest they ain't great. What kind are they?
They have it for another week while I'm away so I've just phoned them to inspect and if it needs doing just to it. If they inspect it now and it does go pop later at least I'll have some come back.
Is there a code for this common fault or even an updated part number that I can go to audi with so I can get mine replaced as I get a noisy tock tock noise on a cold morning for about 8-10 seconds.
Do you think the whole emissions thing has got them rattled so they aren't worrying about trivial stuff like ours?
My bro just bought a pre reg new a4 se model 2.0 diesel. Supposed to get it on Tuesday this week. Turns out they won't release it until the emissions problem is sorted.
So they...
Dodged a cannon ball ha.
Makes a horrible grinding noise when turning right. They should be taking the box out yesterday so hoping for some news today.
