I'm no mechanic, but I need to replace my rear brake pads on 54 plate 3.2 Quattro DSG. I've changed brake pads etc on other cars in the past but just wondered if it a straightforward job or is there any special tricks or tips for this car ? Cheers Mick.
Ooooh. Feel for ya. Would have been a tragedy after a year or two but after 5 days ? Keep an eye out for the other two bits of bad luck coming your way. lol .
Had mine done on 3.2 today at Audi Carlisle in just under 90mins. No problems and no hassle or pressure to fix every wee scratch / bulb on the car. Offered a free wash but hadn't time. They also reset my emissions light as part of the recall / change but it reappeared after two starts.

Hi, No i think it's deliberate to give one rear wiper sweep for safety reasons. Only happens on mine if front wiper stalk is in the on position. At least i hope it's deliberate as it still happens with the new motor fitted. Everyone's problems seem to be the rear wiper taking on a mind of it's...
