O before I'am shot down for wrong info... Is your EGR vacuum or electronic? Mine is 06/07 and vacuum. I know later swapped to electronic but not sure when. Either way I'am. Sure all is same Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

They kind of come off together. One long bolt goes through both then the others join them. No Coolant anywhere near it. Only the EGR cooler near turbo has Coolant in it not the EGR itself. And no just stick it back on no messing :) Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

Just unbolt it and clean with engine degreaser and a small wire brush. They can take awhile to clean. No Coolant loss :) Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk
