Pumpkin Auto
I'm sorry I haven't updated this. All is well, but I've been rather busy;
The Audi Cabrio (subject of this) - Got a flat tyre, which now turned out to be a cut on the side wall. The front left caliper seized and the metal hit the rotors
On my VW Golf R - I've also had a flat...
Silly me. I didn't appreciate that my old 2004 Cabrio has got an aerial diversity system and it does require the 12v. I guess it would help if I actuall connect it :)
You may want to take a mom on dabonwheels as they seem to do a good range of aerials.
Nice information. I've got a similar unit that arrived this week. Mine is a quad core from pumpkin, but basically just another HuiFei but with DAB+ connection which is great.
Sounds and everything is ok, but I'm wondering whether my ears are wrong as I don't use a Hilo for the rear speakers or...
Cool. I didn't have too much time today, but got going....
First job; get my Brodit ProClip for my phone out of the way as it was installed to the side of the RNS-E unit. I was happy that it was indeed as Brodit suggest a no damage installation.
Second job; get the RNS-E out. What a pain. The...
Lol that's cars for you :) perhaps a flat tyre is next?
I've already got vcds/vagcom but need another keyfob. Have you found a good walk through on what to actually do to add more to the car? And any tips on how to open a keyfob?
Yes my wife likes that station as well. My daughters like Kiss FM and Capital. And I want LBC when traveling nationally.
Wow I can't believe I didn't see the xtron unit. It seems a fair bit cheaper than the pumpkin one I got. Would be interesting to see a comparison.
I don't think this is an xtron, well not if it is based upon comments of bad finish. The quality of the external material, buttons, dials is absolutely superb. I was actually concerned about that as I don't want to end up with shiny black plastic.
Fair enough I haven't fitted it yet so figment...
Lol I just bought one. I will be installing it this weekend. I got the DAB+ module to go with it as well. I'll report back in my own thread. First impressions (uninstalled) are very good.
I haven't been active for a while, but as my impulse lease VW Golf R is coming to an end in March I brought my B6 Convertible back on the road. Very impressed with how it started first time after nearly two years standing still. Well with a little help from a charged battery ;)
Anyway, I was so...
You know I've always said I liked the S3, but to me the interior was just something that didn't float my boat....I think some were saying that it is the future and isn't going away, and who knows what the future holds...
VW Has just given us some insight of what he future could hold. I do...
Damn he is quick :)
There is some thinking that the early Golf R like my one were louder than later models. When mine is on full 100% I do get distortion. I wonder whether it is the same for the S3.
