I have a lambda sensor fault hoping people can help and advise what's happened is the pre cat lambda on my audi a4 2.0 tfsi 2006 the wire touched the exhaust manifold heat shild and melted the wire and now I am getting these two fault codes p0031 and p0036 sensor 1 and sensor 2 heating elements...
Car still seems ok and the garages that have had the car loads of times have all the parts they replaced but not given them back but also have taken over 1k off me also with out even fixing the car too
So far so good people drove car a few times since that n80 valve been fitted and still no eml light so looking good will keep you posted over next few days as of the out come
Replaced the n80 valve today part number 06e 906 517a so lets hope this dose the trick will keep you posted as to what happens next thanks for the help also people
Hi i have got this fault code p2187 i have replaced vacuum valve air mass sensor 0
O2 sensors front and rear fuel filter and cant get rid of this code and eml light keeps coming on.
Fitted some new Bosch plugs today and it's 98 percent better idle now every so slight dip that you really have to look at the needle to notice. So I think when the coil pack went it must have damaged the plugs some how.
a carry on from this still trying to sort it i have tryed another throttle body today and still no good, could it be the timing belt kit not fitted properly
