Just picked car up from Inde-tech at Bletchley . Fitted RS4 arb, drop links, bushes etc as per part numbers above... Wow. What a difference! Thanks to everyone here for convincing me to go for it ! Really does corner very flat now. Seems to have eliminated under steer ?! Looking forward to...

My car is going in for the gearbox ecu on Tuesday :( Main dealer says I need a rear ARB. Garage wants confirmation from me that rs4 will fit straight on, If not...it's my problem not theirs? Advice please !

Thanks ! I'll give him a call. My quote included about £130 for oil? apparently the ecu is almost £750, then 5 hours labour @ £45/hr Glad to hear yours is ok !

I took mine to Inde tech in Bletchley . I do indeed need a new ECU for the gearbox. They also recommend an oil change. Approx £1200. Fortunately I have a warranty that will cover £1k of that. Just need to sort the logistics of getting car up there, me home etc

Mate.. Know how you feel, just bought my cab ready for summer and my PRNDS has started. Potential £1500 repair on a £8k car is a ***** . Going to take mine to a place in Milton Keynes. They seem to be a specialist . Don't read thread on pistonheads .... Might tip you over the edge;) good luck...

Had my 3.0 petrol cab three weeks. Lovely. Words of advice from my own recent buying experience. Check cambelts (Inc water pump, belts etc) has been done. It's a £1000 job. If multi tronic, transmission oil must be changed every 40k miles. Google for some horror stories and huge repair bills...
