So just to recap - does anyone know of further failures on the (not new, not upgraded) refurbished injectors that Audi are now using to swap out the original type?

Just spoken to Audi UK today. Apparently they are in agreement with the dealership. As Dad has not paid for any of the parts or the work, it is only covered until the end of his own 12 month warranty which was taken out when he bought the car in April 2011 (I think it was April - could be Feb)...

I'll be on the blower to Audi UK tomorrow...

After a prolonged conversation at the dealership yesterday afternoon, we were told that neither the work nor parts would be covered by any sort of gaurantee due to the dealership footing the bill and doing the work for free - can this be correct?
