Hello. Went to view a 2012 A3 S line 2.0TDI today and this was covered in rust and directly underneath it was soaking in water. What is this part and surely there's a leak somewhere? Also the engine bay had what looked like 27/1 on it in chalk... ??

Past week or so, after doing 30 miles or so on the motorway, and parking up, after waking past my car I've noticed a burning smell coming from under the bonnet. Hard to describe, but smells plastic/electrical? Can't see anything wrong, any ideas please? Not sure if it's significant, but both...

Yeh, after the event now but regretting it. Any one have ideas about the smell and vibration please? Short journey this morning. So didn't notice smell but armrest still vibrating.

Thanks for looking any suggestions/solutions appreciated Went out yesterday morning, doing 70mph on 'a major road'. No idea why, but put hand rather than elbow on centre arm rest and could feel it vibrating. More than it should, even though surely it shouldn't. ? So then spread fingers apart...

Pollen filter could be holding water, if there's a leak.....

Not sure if it's just my unit that does this, or they're all like it? Whether radio or Mp3, when slowing down for say traffic lights, the sound lowers itself slightly.... And when playing Mp3's, even though there's loads on the SD card, and all play on laptop, only half show up as playable...

Yep I know it's music only, but that's all I'm after anyway :)
