    ABS Fault?

Yes, checked fuses, all ok, if the fault was with the pump I would expect to see faults recorded, VCDS cant connect to ABS module which makes me think it must the ABS module or the wiring, just thought I would ask on here in case anybody else had experienced these issues and resolved them.

Car went into Liverpool Audi last year for coil pack revision/upgrade, but none of the coil packs were changed, no explanation given i assumed the ones fitted were allready upgraded items.

    Coil pack question

I have seen a full set on PSI Tuning website for £ 152.40 delivered, claiming to be genuine VAG items, seems to be a good price if genuine OEM parts.

    Coil pack question

Hi all, I have a 2003 B6 S4, had a problem yesterday with engine misfiring, did full scan with VCDS and found the fault to be coil pack 6, was going to swap the coil pack with another and rescan to confirm if faulty coil pack or not but upon removing the coil pack only the top half came out...

    Suspiciously high tyre pressure?

Mine fitted with 235/40/18 I would'nt have thought there would be that much difference, I would run them at 39 psi

DIY Garage In Hull - Thoughts and comments please

I would imagine most competent DIY mechanics would allready have a good selection of their own tools, you could still offer the covered space and use of lifts for your suggested hourly rates and charge extra for use/hire of specialised tools for which you could take a seperate deposit. +1 for...

    Just bought an S4

My S4 does this on occasion when pulling off in second gear, if I give it too many revs before the clutch is fully engaged the clutch seems to stick, if I then apply more power to move off the clutch just slips with the resulting burning clutch smell.

    Milltek exhaust

Fitted the exhaust myself, took too long taking the system off and apart that I did'nt have time to remove the trim pieces from the backboxes and also it started raining heavily, I was working outside on driveway, plus I could'nt wait to take car out for a blast. lol I will remove them tomorrow...

    Milltek exhaust

Just changed my Milltek resonated center sections for non res, sounds so much better and not too loud in the cabin either. Only downside, my left tailpipe trim sticks out further than the right side by about 50mm.

    Do you remember??

I still have my old Commodore VIC 20 in the loft, kept hold of it hoping it may become a collectors item, but it appears the power supply is the most valuable part of it.

DIS Error messages, but no faults found!!

From the responses it would seem to be the battery that is at fault, I shall carry out a Vag scan and check the battery voltage tomorrow. May or may not be related but have noticed, not quite a misfire but more like a weak spark type symptom on start up from cold, car has been into Audi for coil...

DIS Error messages, but no faults found!!

All DIS error messages checked and found to be incorrect, brake lights working fine so I assume the switch must be ok.

DIS Error messages, but no faults found!!

Would this translate into the battery dying? Brakes all checked/ serviced last week, so I know the DIS error is spurious.

DIS Error messages, but no faults found!!

Had the front side light error about 5 weeks ago, in this case the bulb had actually failed and the DIS showed fault every time I turned ignition on, not returned since changing the bulb. I know there is no problems with the brakes as I serviced them last week whilst fitting spacers, will carry...
