A panel filter isn't going to give any noticeable improvements by itself. Coupled with a milltek exhaust, dpf delete and re-map it should all tie in nicely and give you a nice increase in performance.

I thought the green cottons were ok mainly the k&n and piper cross which are a little more greasy.

On another note would the wiring and actual fitment be the same between the old and new style rear lights. I think the new version look mint but mines not got them on. Found a pair of new ones on eBay for the sport back if they'll fit and it's a standard iso block connector between the two.

Still stuck with the 170 bhp diesel, seems a good compromise with performance and economy. Much more pleased with the better spec car and no going back with this one. Only thing it's got which I don't want is a telephone cradle/prep in the arm rest. May have to look at removing it.

Thanks. No unfortunately there not the 7 spokes :-( I'm on the hunt for some at the moment and plan on getting them powder coated. I take it the a3 is 5 x 112 et54? I want these to be the first change as I feel they'll set the car off nicely just struggling to find any genuine ones :-(
