Do it! 10s are no problem for the rear arches at all. Cars gonna be for sale soon as we have a baby on the way now and could do with the money else where so if anybody fancies the wheels as a full package in part exchange for their own at a good price seeing as the car is being sold anyway drop...
Was it on bodies or summit? I was too busy tryin to fix the leaky sump to do anything else with the damn thing lol. Loved it though. Mine was glacier white with anth speedlines on it, gsi kit and morrettes with a steinmetz grille. Did you ever use corsasport?
Yea straight line was great but it weren't too bad in the corners really. Was on spax rsx coilovers and speedlines with decent tires and a v6 brake setup so did quite well although admittedly not a touch on the little Frenchy. Had a Williams shape 1800 16v as my first car.. cracking fun but...
There was a lad working on a site where i was last year and had a 1.6 8l with s3 badges and chrome mirror caps and he swore blind it was a genuine one.... naturally all i could do was laugh lol.
Yea as above some tires do stretch more as i have falken on mine on 9x19 and 10x19 x5 bm wheels. Handling wise it seems to track just as well if not better than with my lm reps on. Have a look in my thread for pics of the wheels and ideas of offsets you'd like and tire sizes etc
Oh well that's a shame mate. Just remember that pm to me when you change cars cos I'll take those oz's in a heart beat! Looked at the aston wheels myself. What bolt pattern are they and sizes offsets etc?
Just wondering if anyone would like to arrange a few meeting points along the m6.. I'm jumping on at wigan and getting a little convoy goin so when we arrive we could park the a3/s3s together and form a bit of a club stand as such? Just thinking it may be nice for those of us not having show cars ;)
