Is this a fake s line? confused!!

Do you know what else they changed, did they change interior etc at the time of the twin grill change or later with the lower bumper? or is it all the same apart from bumper and grill from 2004-2008?

Is this a fake s line? confused!!

Hi, Been looking at this link here: http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/showthread.php?76906-8P1-8P2-or-8P3 which shows what the facelift A3 s line bumper looks like. However there are many cars on sale which have the normal standard bumper as shown on that thread, but are described as s line...

    my a3!!

would NOT recomend this, water boils at 100 degrees... The tried and trusted way is to use a hair dryer on low heat, point at the badge from afar until warm to the touch, then use string/dental floss to 'saw' in between the badge and bodywork

What more to do with my A4?

Your post is too vague, What do you want? (power?handling?looks?show standard?) and in what order and what is your budget/long term aim/how long planning to keep the car etc If you have lowered with springs only then good shocks would be first move, if done them then brakes. Most fun...

Advice on changing brake fluid reservoir- how to drain?

An update for any future people searching. Note: mine is a 1996 so the item may have changed later as the replacement is slightly different. Couldn't find a conveniant way to siphon off and the sieve thing at the top does not come out so was a case of quickly pulling off and stemming flow...

Advice on changing brake fluid reservoir- how to drain?

Just went and had a closer look. On the left side there is the electrical cable which just plugs out, from below I think you can just pull it gently out of the master cylinder. On the right side there is a thicker hose that goes to the servo. Inside the container is a teabag strainer type...

Advice on changing brake fluid reservoir- how to drain?

Interesting to know- as currently if I move the car more than a few yards I get the ABS and brake warning lights on so assumed would not operate for long. What did you use to syphon the fluid? Also a mechanical noob so would have no idea on how to gravity bleed a clutch so if it did need...

Advice on changing brake fluid reservoir- how to drain?

Very glad to hear that as means I should be able to do it myself. Found a post on a'world from someone who did the job, for draining he "cracked the rear bleeder to drain". How do i crack a rear bleeder, and would I be better off using syringe/baster etc as assuming if on the rear would not...

Many thanks- was hoping it was ok to just fill it back up with fluid (cracked during brake fluid change so last thing i want is to do is get the garage to re-do it all).
