right, I'll forget stance considering these wheels aren't right for it. I have tried fitting them on but they obviously foul the caliper. My current wheels are just a factory 15" alloys which are ET38, so am I right in guessing 20mm spacers would make my new alloys fit and look just like its on...
Hi guys, I've got myself some wheels. Basically they are 16" 6.5J ET55.
Now being a newbie, What spacers would I need to make them fit my 1999 A3 1.8t and give it a nice stance too? Would it be a simple 20mm all round or maybe a different size for the rears?
Little Update
Just thought I'd use this as my progress thread rather than starting up a new one. Anyone know how to edit thread titles?
Anyway so far the car has a Wak'd airbox and the headunit broke on me. Replaced the cd player with a tray and placed a boost gauge in there. No piccies but...
yeh as supernova said, i meant manual mode as in you controlling aperature, shutter speed, iso, focus. This is normally "m" on the dial you have on the top.
i feel your pain Paul. I managed to hit a pot hole too last week. I was far too busy eyeing up an s3 on the other side of the road lol Luckily i run some kit-kat chunky tyres on mine so no damage done a part from the dashboard beeping at me saying i have a brake light out lol
as long as it has "manual" mode then its good enough to learn mate :) i started off with a non-slr fujifilm bridge camera so you shouldn't have any bother with this olympus
I'm thinking of purchasing the neuspeed tip, just wondering if anyone has had one on their motor? if so, how would you rate them? Fitting it doesnt look too much of a bother but is there things to look out for?
thanks:laugh:
