    Wife puts petrol in TDI130.

The Recovery chap said that most diesel pumps are now larger than unleaded and shouldn't fit into a petrol car's filler neck. However, some people force it in anyway, you'd think the stuff dribbling down the side of the car and onto your shoes would be a bit of a giveaway. Anyway, 200 miles up...

    Wife outs petrol in TDI130

Collected the car earlier this evening and done 30 miles now and seems absolutely fine. Big relief. Final bill was a whisker over £180 including the new fuel filter and £1 a litre to dispose of the petrol (60 litres of the stuff). Audi Assistance cover the cost of recovery though thankfully...

    Wife puts petrol in TDI130.

Thanks for the replies guys. Nice story Jason, brought a smile to my face! Collected the car couple of hours ago, done 30 miles since then and all seems fine. Phew, think we've got away with it. Final bill wasn't too bad I suppose, £180 including the new fuel filter. I'll take it out of her...

    Wife puts petrol in TDI130.

Yep, last night my wife managed to squeeze 58 litres of unleaded into our 2003 TDI130 at the local Tesco filling station. Drove for about 100 yards before it conked out and she realised what she had done. So, phoned Audi Assistance and car was duly taken back to the recovery company's yard...

    A4 TDi what's it worth?

Hi T! Welcome to the forums. Funnily enough, I sold a Civic Type R for a TDI 130 too (Sport, not an SE though). I'm no expert on prices but that sounds reasonable, especially if it's a dealer. Don't see too many B6 chassis under £10k and the ones that are usually have mega miles or are petrol...

DIS or not to DIS this is THE question

Hi John, Welcome to AudiSport. Can't help you re the DIS question but like you, was in a quandry between an SE or Sport. Went for the 130 Sport too but it's an early '03 model with the 16" Trapez alloys and no body-kit. It looks better for being a Sport sitting on the lower suspension and it...

    Expressing our views to Audi

Perhaps Audi Customer Service is no worse than any manufacturer? I know that's no excuse but I had to call Honda Customer Service over an issue with a previous car, a Civic Type R. We had basically reached stalemate with the dealer and I wanted them to step in and sort it out or at least...

Just got my new A4 tdi sport:)

Hi again, Fuel consumption: if it's nearly all town driving we are getting 42/43mpg or thereabouts. On a long motorway run we've had 51mpg (that's nearly 700 miles to a tank!). Car was still quite new then so might be even better now. Quite like S60's, pretty powerful and nice inside and out...

Just got my new A4 tdi sport:)

Wolfsburger, excuse me for butting in here but I was in a very similar situation to Lee, you may find useful. Bought a new 130 Sport (Atlas Grey) in March, to answer your questions: Was in stock Got a discount (or more accurately, increased trade-in of approx £1500). Hard work though, took me...
