Would the plastic key solve this as reading the description you can still start the car with the stop star button with the plastic key, which would mean you would still have the same setup as if you only had the two main keys?
Watford Audi have been amazing with me. They went the extra mile when I had no car to get me one and they still gave me a discount! Even keeping the place open for longer so I could pick it up!
No idea I'd imagine they'd just put some parts on it and auction it. But yes it was in stock. Very lucky. Can't believe the spec on it either. It literally has every option! Happy with the outcome right now
Well had a phone call from admiral. They have decided the only way to resolve this is to buy me out.
This means I have to get a new car :(
However Watford Audi have been amazing. New car arrived Wednesday plus the spec on this one is basically tick every box possible.
I've already written in to Admiral to make my formal complaint. They now have 8 weeks from the date of that letter to get back to me with a solution and outcome of their investigation. I have already told them I will be going to trading standards and they didn't seem that fussed tbh. Trading...
I hope so too! I have called trading standards who have advised me on a course of action to take at the moment.
I'm just waiting on Admiral at the moment who are dragging their feet!
Just an update on what has happened. Audi now have the car and today I went to see it. It was shocking. The garage have not only fitted wrong parts but Audi suspect that they have not fitted Genuine Audi parts. This has voided my warranty. Luckily as it has not been driven they will replace them...
According to the garage it took so long as the frequently got the wrong parts, parts came in damaged or they had to get them on back order from Germany.
Thanks for your advice in regards to the below
It was an approved repairer. I shall call again tomorrow and ask for the car to be uplifted. I will definitely be looking for an alternative courtesy car as I currently am driving a 1.2 vauxhall corsa which is painful to say the least! But at the...
Once all I said and done I shall let you know but whilst it's being investigated I will keep quiet to be on the safe side.
If I'm not happy after this weekend I shall be making a complaint first thing on Monday morning.
I've spoken to the insurance company who are putting the fault solely with the garage. They are investigating to see if my claims are correct at the moment. There's talk of another engineer to go down to look at the car. All of which will take time. Getting frustrating now. Waiting for a call...
Hello,
I'm looking for some advice on how to proceed with my insurance company. I was involved in an incident and the front of my car was damaged. I reported it all to the insurance company the day it happened (over 2 months ago) and they organised repair of my vechile.
I have an s3 8v but...
Stick to your guns! They just tried a ploy to see if they could get you to pay it with someone else calling you! Wouldn't exepct this dodgy underhand way of trying to get a few measly quid out of you from Audi!
