I'd pay that but try and get it a bit cheaper. I got offered one for 7.5k but it only had 40-odd k on the clock and had full black leather...and that was from a garage.

Very nice, saw this on pistonheads, good price as well. Not my favourite wheels but I like them becuase they're different. :happy:

I particularly like the way the drivers side door doesn't actually line up with the body.

The merlin purple is gorge... there's one on pistonheads or ebay or somewhere I've looked recently with a fully black grill/alloys which looks ace! Not very keen on this light blue colour.

OT but the S3 looks soooo much better with the outside of the grill done black! :happy:

I've looked at it now and it looks mint especially the interior... haven't test drove yet though!

Thanks for the replies, it's up for £9k but I'll go take a look. (BTW this is on the Isle of Man and cars are generally dearer than in UK due to buyers having less choice on-island and cars often being low mileages).

Been umming and arring about trading in my Astra for an S3 for a while now, and been looking out for low milage examples. Just noticed one come up in a local garage in the paper a couple of weeks ago (haven't been to see it yet and they don't have a website so it may have actually been sold!)...

Hi everyone, I'm currently looking to buy an S3 - ideally like a 2003 with as low as possible mileage - hoping to find one with 50-60k. What common problems should I look for? When should a cambelt change have been done? What's the deal with Haldex servicing? Anything else to look out for...
