Wheel Refurb - can anyone recommend a filler to use?

If they are scuffed you should be able sand most of the damage out. Use chemical metal for deeper damage and a skim of filler for the minor damage

    Stretched tyres and spacers

We need to know the offset and width of the wheel as that dictates all the info we can give you! If they came on the a3 as standard they are probably 18x7.5, 18x8 came on the A4. So assuming your on 18X7.5 ET54 wheels Tyre size - 215/35/18, 215/40/18 or 205/40/18 (hard to source) spacers - 10mm...

    What wheels are these ?

They came on the ED30 golfs, and could be specced on the A3. Lovely OEM wheels IMO but theres quite a lot of them about, probably worth £4/500. Personally, I'd just keep them for when you go to sell the car

    A4 Avant buying advice

Noisey chain seems to be quite a common issue. I have the 1.6FSI in my a3 which is chain driven and always sounds loud on start up. Gradually disappears as the engine heats up though. What sort of mpg figures are you getting? I could live with less MPG just for the noise of the V6, with a...

    A4 Avant buying advice

Hi guys, I'm currently driving an a3 and looking to change this for an a4 avant in the near future and was looking to get some advice before buying! Basically I'll be looking for a petrol S-line model (preferably quattro and manual), so 2.0T or 3.2 V6 and from 2005-2007. What are the main...

    17 inch wheels, what offset?

Anything from 54-45 or so. most of the standard 18s are ET52-54. You can always add spacers if needs be

    17 inch wheels, what offset?

It depends on the width of the wheel. For 18x7.5 (common audi size) you would go for a 225/40/18 tyre or similar

    17 inch wheels, what offset?

Get 18s.... You wont loose any comfort if you fit a sensible sized tyre 17s look silly in the A3s arches

Audi A3 Sline/S-line: RS3 Replica (5d) or S3 Replica (3d)?!? Which one worth to rep?

The lower valance and diffuser can be bought separately and fitted to the s-line bumper. The diffusers are usually quite expensive compared to the valance.

Audi A3 Sline/S-line: RS3 Replica (5d) or S3 Replica (3d)?!? Which one worth to rep?

Settle yourself fella lol Upgrading to S-Line parts is bearable IMO as they are very subtle cosmetic changes. Adding RS/S kits is a different matter unless you go the full way and have the engine/transmission modifications to warrant carrying the RS/S badge.... The wheels I sold weren't "dodgy...

Dont bother with springs, you'll need coilovers to get low enough to pull those wheels off

Audi A3 Sline/S-line: RS3 Replica (5d) or S3 Replica (3d)?!? Which one worth to rep?

I dont know how you worked out these costs but they are way off! Bearing in mind that s3 side skirts will cost you around 800-1k, you'll probably need to look at those prices again Personally, I absolutely hate reps and dont understand why someone would spend the money on one Save an extra few...

Guidance please, new to the scene.

Wheels and coilovers will do a lot more for that car than a s-line spoiler and skirts will! S-line spoiler will cost you around £250 (£100 for the spoiler, £150 sprayed and fitted) S3 skirts will cost around 1k Put the same amount of money into suspension and wheels and you'll have a good...
