    Heaters S3 8V

Morning Guys, Over the last couple of weeks and only when the car has stood overnight, the heaters take around a good 10 mins to get warm, usually they are warm within 2 mins, with heating set to 21, the fans set in auto with AC off, the system will blow the fans on low, when it thinks it gets...

Morning Guys, Bonnet switch has decided to go faulty, so fooling alarm and wipers that the bonnet is up, just about to order a new one, I have read you can short the wires to fool it, but can you use VCDS or OBDEleven to set the switch to closed to save shorting pins or chopping wires for the...

    MIB2 High Map Upgrade

My bad, typo, it's MIB1 High. so everything is correct in terms of files on the SD, but I have a feeling you don 't need to do the upgrade from engineering for the maps.

    MIB2 High Map Upgrade

Evening Gents, trying to upgrade the maps on the MMI, been on Mib Helper, got my head around what I need, the unit reads the SD card, but instead of displaying the updating screen, mine jumps straight into a directory structure, I have missed something, or has anybody seen this themselves. VCDS Exhaust Flap Coding Part 2

After contacting the company who mapped the car last, it seems they had a problem enabling the exhaust flaps during the map, they were a little vague to be honest, but it kinda speaks for itself. Spoke to a few local tuning companies, who say it is easier to remap again with their own, well they...

VCDS Exhaust Flap Coding Part 2

I am guessing to revert back you just enabled it via vcds, and no other black magic was involved. Another test is to put your hand over the inner pipes, if the flaps are closed you will get no exhaust gas pressure, my exhaust is that big, I can actually see the flaps. Gaz

VCDS Exhaust Flap Coding Part 2

Cheers for that, on the output tests, the flaps open and close fine, I can do one bank and the second bank, both move absolutely fine, they are just ignoring the selection in the driving modes. The strange thing I have come across is in the output tests, it say's the flaps are open which they...

VCDS Exhaust Flap Coding Part 2

So if the exhaust flaps have been disabled by an ECU map, I am guessing that is done with other software as opposed to VCDS or similiar. Gaz

VCDS Exhaust Flap Coding Part 2

Flaps work via VCDS output tests, so pretty sure there plugged in.

VCDS Exhaust Flap Coding Part 2

There is something weird going on, as all tests work, coding is correct, will have to track back and see where the last map was done, it was remapped by KMS at some point, as it was there development car for their first S3 exhaust, cannot see it been part of that map, as they fitted the system...
