    interesting, I fill with 95, will try 99 and see if there's a noticeable difference, its a hard car to judge in this respect as the delivery is sooo linear, definitely peaks a little toward the red line though. Will post back on the difference with 99

    thanks Sam, all done and dusted now and back home, Kartechnics were great and very competitive on price, i understand you've had a bit of a run in with them so cant comment on that but they really did help me out so have to give them a shout.

    ended up at kartechnics, LUK parts are being used so original back door audi, no? 12mth guarantee on parts and labour but hoping to not need it ;) clutch is an addition if it is needed, we suspect a new one was fitted not so long ago and if not contaminted, should be ok.
