Hi,
I've just changed my old A3 for a 2015 S-Line coupe and was wondering if anyone has successfully fitted mudflaps to their A5?
The OE front flaps fitted no problem but the rears don't seem to fit at all.
The part numbers I have are:
Front 8T0075111
Rear 8T8075101A
My TDI quattro done something similar. Front wheels would spin and no faults on the dash. Audi diagnosed it as the oil pump in the haldex and replaced under warranty. The oil pump is quite cheap. Specialist workshop would be best.
If your car is still under warranty Audi will update the software to the newer version which can be coded for led's. I found this on another forum for upgrade bcm 615:
TPI 2029738 (SVM code 09A008)
If you google the TPI number you'll find more details on it. I just told my dealer the rear...
Another option is VWR springs which you can get from any APR agent.
I have these fitted to my car (TDI quattro S-Line) and are comfortable and lower. Measures 343mm wheel centre to arch on the front and 355mm on the rear. They are the only linear rate lowering spring available for the A3, but...
AFAIK the car monitors the ash in the oil and reduces the miles to service accordingly. When you got the car with zero miles the count down mileage would have been identical. With short journeys the oil service can be substantially less than every 19K.
The 140 quattro has a smaller diameter pipe so all that should be required is different adaptor afaik (which Milltek sell or may be included as it was with mine)
Non-res is the only way to go unless you get a turbo back system, there is next to no increase in noise. The only reason I got one is...
The cat back exhaust for the A3 2.0T FSI quattro fits perfectly. I have it fitted to my 170 quattro.
Turbo back it would have to be custom made and probably better just to do a full dpf delete.
Has to be a starter motor problem as it's the only moving part if the engine is not turning over. Sounds like the starter gear is not engaging properly and grinding against the flywheel starter ring. It's usual aswell for a bad starter to give problems intermitantly, when it's on its way out...
No idea what the list prices are but see below link for genuine seat pad prices, which will be the same part numbers etc. (Audi dealer should be able to match these in theory)
Sere is usually the around the same price as TPS and supplied me my pads last time all they need is the code from your...
That is to upgrade from BCM 615, there is another code and TPI to upgrade to BCM 615.
If you google either the TPI or SVM codes, there is loads of info on the German forums, all 2011+ cars can be upgraded quite easily now.
Can your ex tech not look up the TPI number Jamie?
Audi dealership may also do it under warranty.
Found this on another forum for upgrade bcm 615:
TPI 2029738 (SVM code 09A008)
TPI is Technical Product Information which I think is the details of a known technical issue and the fix. In this case the fix in TPI 2029738, should be update electrics module with SVM??
All the details are in German forums but basically you tell your dealer you are having intermittant...
