    CENTRAL LOCKING

    had a similar problem with mine, A4 3.0 Quattro 2002.. Vagcom said the drivers door controil module was faulty.. In fact it was a broken CAN wire in the rubber boot in the drivers door.. Check for broken wires before replacing any modules is my advice.. VAG-COM is diagnostics software...

    Sorry guys worked it out.... When you replace the injection pump on v6 tdi models you have to adapt it to the immobilizer... It has a electronic module on it that ties in with the immobilizer for the anti theft system...

    Hi All, Some help with Vagcom please..... Have had to replace the injection pump on a A4 2.5 tdi and it will not start, vagcom is giving immobiliser errors... Does anyone know how to adapt the new injection pump to the immobiliser??? Any help would be appreicated... Thanks Pal

    Dan_B... Whats the mileage on your car?? I too have 3.0 V6 and had concerns about the cambelt change interval etc... I spoke to Audi Customer Care, they told me i don't need to worry about the Cambelt till 80k miles and that dealers should not be telling me it's 80K or every fours years...

    As long as you change all four, there will be no problems.. Chaning two only will mean you have more grip either at the front or rear depending where you put them on.. Not the best thing to be doing in my opinion... i think you can get away with fitting 225/40/18 without any problems..

    Spark plugs anyone??

    I always go for the NGK plugs.. Have done both for my S3 and A4 3.0 V6 Quattro... Never had a problem with them, also the dealers use NGK too. I did go for the NGK Iridium's this time round on the A4, but no major performace gains.. So would just stick with the standard plugs next time!
