    Why has my '54 A3 3.2 Quattro DSG got 18" wheels? Tyre selectors all say 17"

    Even the Audi online quote indicates the tyre should be 17"? As I only cover <5000miles p.a. I thought a set of winter tyres would be useful. So I could probably get a full set of wheels with tyres at 17" and narrower for Dec-Feb. Bit cheaper than 18" rims. TIA for any thoughts...
