I'm doing this at the moment on the other halfs car. steps are as follows:
-Disconnect Battrey & wait 30 min
-Remove airbag and stearing wheel
-Remove upper steering wheel trim
-Remove Lower stearing wheel trim (1 bolt underneath, 2 behing steering wheel)

Having issues with 2006 a3 2.0 TFSI (BWA engine) where anything over 4k rpm the need jumps all over place with "EPC" flashing and have loss of power.

The setting are reset to 0 after a battery change, so its normall a case of plus in the SPS plus and amed them. I have the setting they were previously, and have had them amended before.

As above, any one got the a Revo Select switch in the West berks I could use for 10 min. Just need to adjust the setting after garage disconnected battery.
I will provide a hot Coffee/Tea for our troubles

I Have a sportback, took out the subbox, fiberglassed an enclosure and put in a shallow sub (10" Punch P2D2-10) then put a digital amp in the spare battery box.

Ive had this on my A3 for about year and half now. Great in the winter and sunshine (I have feature to sense temp in car, so start it up its its roasting).

Cant help on what the problem may be, however I've just had mine done as part of a service, and they did't have to go near the exhaust manifold.
If i remember correctly they have to remove the alternator, but thats about it. Should be about 2hours labour for the thermostat alone
