Hi everyone,
I have got a Q5 2021 model and was wondering whether it would be possible to retrofit the colour changing ambient lighting pack?
I have seen a few chinese vendors selling the equipment but no one else.
Although this is an S4 the Q5 is similar, the area is covered by a foam pad, the fixing points are raised so if I tried to stick it on it would not make enough contact with the surrounding area.
Hi,
I have purchased new 4D plates for my Q5 and the vehicle fixing points both clash with letters, is there a mounting bracket available like the US ones that screw to the existing points? I do not want to rely on sticky pads alone.
Any help would be appreciated.
Yes mate as said the wires are to send a positive feed to the inner lights off the number plate light so the led rings light up with side lights on.
Just solder and heat shrink to number plate wire try not to cut it just use a knife to remove an inch of insulation.

Hi it will go straight in if your car has the quadlock plug and a double din cage, you will need an adaptor if not, also if you have bose you may need to swap a wire around. You will also need coding with vcds. I did mine though and it is easy. someone will clarify this shortly.
