I've just been reading a post in the detailing section about S3 trim. Can anyone tell me what colour this was when the car came from the factory. I have a metallic black car but the lower door trim, rear bumper insert and trim around the fogs is a dark grey on my car. Was this black originally...
Can anyone tell me how they should be activated? i.e. headlights on and a long blast on the washers? I read somewhere on here that they came on every 4 squirts on the washer. What is the correct process to get the headlight washers to work. Cause it seems mine don't do ****.
I recently had to replace the grommet on the roof aerial. While changing things over I was a little too heavy handed with the cable connector behind the rear interior light and the cable came out of the crimped connector. As this connector had Audi printed all over it I figured I'd had to go to...
Yip. I had the throttle body cleaned by Audi, Which hasn't changed a thing.
How difficult is it to change the said hoses? Does anyone have any recommendations on good quality, but not expensive hoses? Ideally not bright blue Samco ones.

2. What the EVAP canister is and what it looks like?
3. Which are the DV hoses?
I hope I don't sound ungreatful. I'm merely highlighting I know near to nothing.

I have had Audi look at it and they diagnosed the induction system needed cleaning. I had it cleaned and it seemed to make a little difference at first but now is the...
Just wanted to thank jojo for the door card removal tips. You saved me time and an ear bending from the wife. I would've been there hours trying to find the last 2 screws under the handle trim piece. And I now have the correct screws and there isn't a rattling screw coming from inside the door...
No. You got me wrong. You don't bond it to the door. You bond the nylon runner back to the trim piece. Effectively removing the need for the reinforcement rod as the 2 bit are bonded together.
I had the same issue.
First thing I'd point out is. Make sure you use a magnetic screwdriver to remove the screws which hold strip on from the inside. 3 screw are hidden with a rubber plug. If you loose the screw you'll have a nightmare to get it back. m4 machine screw is what you need to...
