Bill do you mean bridge the 2 hoses going into the n75 together? One from the charge oupe and one from the wastegate/actuator?

Ok i've took the car out a drive after disconnecting the n75 electronically - the car/boost is still the exact same. Is it worthwhile adjusting the actuator rod like i said above or am i barking up the wrong tree? I logged it with vagcom and it was peaking at around 2100mbar before dropping off

Yes i have full vagcom and a offical hex usbII cable. MAXIMUM LIMIT EXCEEDED was the error if i remember right

Cheers s3ben, so by logic, if i get more than 7psi, i can try and adjust the actuator rod by making the end of the rod longer, and if its less than 7psi i do the poopsite with the rod. If its 7psi with the n75 unplugged and i dont see any overboost - would this suggest a n75 problem or is there...

i've got a misfire on cylinder 3 - pretty sure it's going to be a coilpack - but rather than fannying about and swapping them over to find out what cylinder is what, does anyone know the cylinder layout for the AMK engine while i'm looking at it from the front of the car? Cheers

I know about the door blade being on the s3 and not the a3, but would i be able to put an a3 door on rather than an s3 door, as looking at pictures of a bare door, i cant really see the difference?

Cheers a3t, but you seem to have a hissing sound when you're not pressing the brake and it stops when you press it if i'm reading your thread correct? Where did you spray the silicon grease into and who told you to do this?

No the brake pedal feels a lot softer

I can definately hear it when the engine is running and i'm driving. Like i say i've never heard it doing it before so wondering if it could be a vacuum hose or something?

Cheers sandra i think they might just be a generic audi garage with genereric mechanics though, more looking for a specialist similar to badger5 in england.

West of scotland but i travel to aberdeen for work so aberdeen aint out of the question.

Are there any garage's/tuners in Scotland that absolutely know they're stuff with audi's, particularly the turbo one's. I think i've got a boost leak and had it for ages now but i just can't be ***** trying to find it myself as there's so many hoses it could come from. Anyone know of any?
