No Foxy as the fixings on the back are different to those on the 05-08 grill, I believe that type of badge is for 08 onwards where there isn't a recess for grill badge mounting.
Thanks all the same though.
Haha, me too mate. So you're not aware of there being a specific Black one for the black grilled models?
If it doesn't show for a self confessed OCD sufferer that's pretty much good enough for me!
Hi All,
I recently ordered a blackout grill for my early 2008 A3 8P, as I understand it comes with new Audi rings however not the S-Line Badge. The grill does however have a recess to attach the badge.

Hi All,
My 2008 Audi A3 2.0TDi PD170 went into AMD Essex yesterday for a performance remap and DPF-delete. Figures are as follows:
BEFORE
Power: 173.0Hp@4065rpm
Torque: 276.3lb-ft@2333rpm
AFTER
Power: 204.7Hp@3725rpm
Torque: 350.8lb-ft@2707rpm
Slightly disappointed by the power gain, was...
Hi All,
As mentioned in the wanted section, my drivers door armrest has started to crack.
When looking on eBay I found the following BLACK STITCH 2X FRONT DOOR HANDLE ARMREST COVERS FITS AUDI A3 8P S3 04-12 5DR | eBay
Anyone have any experience with these covers?
If not what do you guys reckon...

Morning all,
Just had my 19" Audi BBS/Speedline/RS*** wheels (ET48/8.5J) fitted with 225/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport 2's.
Well chuffed with the improvement!
Before:
After:
I got the wheels off ebay and didn't realise the lip had been painted, not a big deal as i still think...
N8, revisting this. Am i reading this right. Minimum 225/35 therefore i could push for 235/35 with no rubbing issues?
Bearing in mind the wheels are 8.5/19 ET48?
You never fail N8. Thanks alot. I'll just stick with the 225/35's.
Both beautiful wheels :hubbahubba:, can't wait to get mine sorted...well i gotta get them first! :jump:
N8, i know you'll be the one who answers this...haha!
I've purchased from Audi Speedline/BBS/RS861's/20-Spokes off eBay.de.
They currently have no tyres...what size tyres will provide a reasonable ride along with adequate rim protection?
Can i push for 235/35/19 or are they likely rub? I'm...
AFAIK there are no MOT issues without the DPF as the only testing conducted under MOT is a smoke test for Diesels. However removing the DPF is illegal elsewhere in europe.
If my understanding is correct, they split the downpipe, hollow out the DPF then weld back together. Thus keeping the appearance of having a DPF, without the filtering aspect, i can only assume all sensors remain in place.
Thanks for the responses guys. So you helped to decide on a De-DPF along with a remap.
Now my next quandry is as follows...
Shark Performance - DPF-Off (Cut out DPF) and Shark Remap - £619 (Increased to 215BHP and 300lb/ft)
JBS Auto Design - DPF-Off (Replace with Miltek Downpipe) and...
I believe they're actually from an A6 but are advertised as A8 wheels.
Thinking about it, i'd rather wait till a better suited set comes up and i won't have to worry so much about tyre profiles and the amount i'm going to drop.
But if anyone is interested there's a set on ebay for £1200 or...
Lee_R - Thanks for the reply, but i think i agree with V6Pete.
V6Pete - I agree, that was my concern. I'd be better placed to hold out for from 8.5 ET48's i think.
