My Q7 has a problem. From cold, it takes a good 4 or 5 seconds of cranking to start, and then it kind of coughs once and starts up. If I then drive it a mile or two and switch off before it has achieved full operating temperature, it will re-start cleanly, but will still crank for 4 seconds...

I probably could (didn't even know that was an option to be honest), but the fogs light up the ground close to the car better than the Q7 headlamps. Well that's my excuse anyway.

I've been considering the same thing as the OP for my Q7. I too prefer the HID/Xenon look to match my head lights, but my use of fog lights is different. I have never ever used fog lamps, whether foggy or not for the reason that I really don't think they improve my vision of what's ahead of me...

I'd like to get rid of the yellow look to the DRLs on my 2007 Q7. I've read of replacing the bulbs with LED ones and fitting resistors, but wanted to know which are the latest (best?) bulbs etc available (not looking to fit LED strips!) Any pointers appreciated. Thanks Z
