I dont think theres any need for the blanking plates. A audi mechanic blanked my girlfriends awx and all he did was put a ball bearing in the vaccum hose and clear it on the computer. I have it done for about a month now and its perfect no problems since.

I just found out if you are driving with them off you can turn them on after about a min or 2 without throwing the error up. but its hit and miss really sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't.To be honest i had 35s before the 55s and they still put up the errors. I noticed a huge difference between my 35s and 55s. There a great job. They throw up warning lights if I turn them on after I start the car sometimes. but Iv got used of making sure their on before I start the car and it never puts on the warning lights then. Id definately go for the 55s...

you have to pay duty aswell as VRT(Vehicle registration tax) if the car is less than 6months old. if its more than 6months you just pay the VRT. it would have to be registered for the 6months tho. the only way of getting away without vrt is if you own the car for 1year outside ireland you can...

i have the exact same problem the way i got around it is just to either turn the lights on before ya start the car or else (assuming its not too dark) turn on you parkers drive a bit then turn on fogs and drive another bit and eventually turn on your full lights. if you do it slowly it doesn't...
