Hi all. I have a few questions about my A4. Its a cabriolet, 3.0 Quattro 2004 plate.
I have been toying with the idea of converting it to run on LPG. I had a quote from a reputable firm for £1600 which didn't sound too bad...Estimated I would make the money back within 18 months. However...
Hey, I just have a couple of quick questions that will hopefully be easy for you guys to answer.
1) I am due a service according to the display and I am wondering what parts I need to get hold off. Its an A4 Cab 3.0 Quattro Automatic with 42k on the clock.....Is it just the spark plugs, air...
Mines the 3.0 and its on a 54 plate mate.
Im not sure what the factory options are for it, but its got Sat Nav/TV etc in.....Id say it had a decent spec but then looking at yours, im not so sure haha!
I figured the value would drop a fair bit over the winter but what got me was doing an...
I bought myself one in May and paid £14k for it. That was a great price at the time and it took me ages to actually get my hands on one after numberous phone calls where the car had already sold.
I was just browsing around and found people selling them for as little as £5k now!
I understand the...
I banged just over $2k every year on insurance since I started driving xD
Just bought myself an A4 cab and they charged me an extra £800 on top of what Id already paid for on my Lexus.......Im 22.....Never drove anything under 2 litres and they still shaft me....get used to it xD
Ill be sure to pm you if I buy one of those! It sounds like a good bit of kit and when I start to mod the car, Ill get in touch.....as it stands now, I just want to buy the damned car lol.....winding me up ringing up about cars to find out they have sold already!!!
I seem to remember reading...
Yeah, been doing loads of research in between checking this thread multiple times a minute haha.
I sussed the VagCom thing now, although I didn't find a price for it, so nice 1 for that!
Also sussed that the car I mentioned in last post is Band L and thus out of my range, gutted as I spent the...
I cant see any mention of VAGCOM on any of the cars Ive looked at though....guess thats something I could add later on though for a fee!
I just had a quick shufty in ebay for the red leather seats you are on about but I cant see them......have you got a link for that mate?
I am tempted by that...
I didnt notice that one was missing leathers tbh......and thats a pretty vital thing in my mind so Ive knocked that one off the list!
I notice you like retrofits looking at your siggie :D Theres a few bits on your sig, Ill probably ask about once I get a car :D
Whats the multi function wheel...
I started a thread on here a little while back about buying myself an A4 cab.....got some useful stuff off it so Im hoping for more of the same :D
I have been checking 10-20 different used car sites every day since I posted that thread and I am starting to get an idea of what I want.
I test...
Interesting.....whats the price roughly on a remap of the 1.8T? Im not looking to take off, my IS does 0-60 in about 9.5 secs....im just looking to shave a couple of seconds off that. Top end is irrelevant, I just want something that gets off quick at traffic lights as Im usually late for work...
I cant afford an A3 cab unfortuantley :( And its gotta be a cab this time :D
itsmeagain: Would you say the 0-60 time Im reading of around 9.5 seconds is accurate?
Duly noted and a quick google search made my mind up to avoid that particular model :D
Cheers mate.
Anybody have any comment on how quick the 1.8T/2.4 are off the mark? I tend to disbelieve the specs as they were all wrong for my IS200......
Hi. New to the site, found it recommended whilst googling for information on my next car!
So, Ive been driving a Lexus IS200 for the last two years and Ive grown bored of it. After looking around, Ive set my heart on buying an A4 cabriolet.
Im 22 and have been driving for 2 and a half years. I...
