Rear Discs & pads worn - advice pls

Cheers lads that enough for me. Might as well do both and forget about it. There are some good Brembo disc & pad combos about. Any other recommendations for good brakes? I guess the rears don't matter too much. I've got Ferodo DS2500's & Brembo on the front and are very good.

Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta Tyres, any good?

I had both fronts on Sessantas and loved them. Great in both the wet & dry. Never spun the wheels. Great tyre IMHO. A few months back i had a puncture and I went back to Dunlop Sport Maxx as that matched my spare and of course the Garage only had a similar Dunlop. Can't believe how ****e those...

Rear Discs & pads worn - advice pls

Hi all, Looking at these pics, how much would you say I had left on my rear discs/pads? Might be hard to tell but any opinions would be a great help. Audi did a free winter health check and said my discs & pads were almost metal to metal. Took one of my rear wheels off to check my disc size...

    Weddings & Marriage

Me and Mrs Smith are quite laid back kinda peeps, we didn't want all the fuss of choosing all the venues and being ripped off etc etc. We went for a wedding in Zante on the beach. Just tailored the wedding package a bit, choosing colours etc, someone else did the rest just organised the...

Adrian Flux. Beat all those ***** compare sites

Quoted me £570 which is with my SP30 (2006) & the Mrs on a fault claim in 2007. Saved me about £150 today on my premium & breakdown etc and were lower on the interest paying it monthly as well. Very good I have to say. Admiral did not want to compete with them. Sky were cheaper than admiral but...

Road Rage! Psycho EVO driver tried to drag me out my car!

This is the best RANT Thread I have read in ages. Laughed out load at nearly all these little rage stories. I go on the M25 @ leatherhead sometimes and one morning some nobo very clearly did NOT fancy giving way to the right that morning and severely cut me up. I just stayed where i was when...

bye bye wages, hello S line parts

Wow what a bargain you bought all those entry guards and they threw in a pair of toes for free ? ;-) Defo go for the rear door s-line badges they compliment the side profile nicely IMHO. Talking of wages I'm just about to buy a new house with a 230k mortgage.... Ouch :-( I'm scared !! All...

    Thougts on new Brakes??

Europerformance £150 !! Ferodo DS2500s Mines got 312mm discs on a B6 1.8T avant so the prices vary a little between models. Also got Front Vented Brembo 312mm Discs (pair) for about £85 delivered from Bremboshop. Thought that was a good deal as stealers wanted about £125 for standard discs.

    Aircon Issues

I'll have to agree too, mine seemed to get colder on manual LO instead of Auto though ? WTF. When we had really hot days this summer it just couldn't handle it. My company Focus Estate has excellent AC. Takes about a couple of mins to get freezing. A little longer when it's Really hot outside...

Edit: I have got the rear door s-line badges on my Avant which I think compliments the factory s-line kit nicely IMHO. Love that kit especially the dual exhaust, just need some 90mm SS tips & I will be a happy boy ;-)

    Are you over protective?

I love my Audi too, guys & girls and yes I am very protective too. But i am sorry to say that as a "Parent" there is nothing more annoying than watching a guy in some posh car or cabriolet with no sticky fingered Kids anywhere to be seen, take the last parent & child space right outside the...
