Car in for work and garage cannot get hold of back box for TQS Avant anywhere from their usual suppliers. He had to resort to contacting "main stealers" (£300) but even they don't have one in stock and have quoted 7-10 delivery. Old exhaust is not patch/weld-able. Turning into a ****** nightmare...

Aragorn, thanks for the reply. I can't hear a solenoid activate but when I shut the tailgate it needs a bit of a tug to open but I can pull the tailgate open. The tailgate doesn't fly open when driving so it's obviously catching on something lockwise but it just won't lock. Does it matter that...

Sounds like your ABS Electronic Control Module is shot. I have just had the same problem with my 99 2.8i Quattro. The giveaway is that your Audi chap now can't talk to the ABS Module. It cost me about £250 just for the part with OEM Audi part coming in at between £350-400 if I remember correct...

Mark these are some pics of my 2.8i just back from new MOT and washed/polished (by me of course) and the neighbours cat decides to keep warm V6 style by walking all over the bonnet and leaving ****** paw marks. I like animals but not this much......grrrrrr!!!!!
