can anyone describe the sound?? i mean, a rattly engine doesnt really narrow it down, these motors arent the quietest of things anyway.
my car has a slight rattle which appears to be coming from the pas pump (ive had a screw driver to my ear) but never the less im still pretty concerned...
my dis is giving a brake warning which stops after a few seconds. I've been told its a common fault and if the brakes needed attention the brake warning would stay on.
The brakes aren't of the best condition but do not need changing just yet. Also the warning is intermittant, sometimes they...

these seats bobble very easily when scrubbed but its very easily rectified with a razor. It could be summit simple as in a spillage or stain like mine. People do spill things in cars!
Shave it with a cheap razor and it'll be as good as new, there, problem sorted :-)
well this week i've cleaned the maf, removed the egr valve, throttle body and inlet manifold and give them a good clean and i've just changed the fuel filter so we'll see if all this has a positive affect.
another thing mate. Are you leavin the standard shocks on? 60 mm drop may be too much. You might hav to get performance shocks with shortened piston rods
the higher the offset the further the wheels will sit in the arches matey. If your goin for that much of a drop you want the wheels to sit as far in as you can. I think 35 will be too close so i'd be shootin for 40 or even 45. I'd go with the highest you can get then space then out if needed
mine went like that after i scrubbed them to remove a stain.
Shave them with a razor mate, they'll come up like new. This is an old trick that works on clothes too

i dropped a litre out of it at work last night. that has brought the level to just under max on the dip stick.

my car is an ex company car with 107k. got full audi history and is currently on the long life service.
im under the impression the oil in it is not ideal for my type of driving.
i do very little motorway miles, and its mainly short, stp start journeys.

have you checked the level on the pas resovoir? it could be summit as simple as low fluid? also, ive read that you can remove air from the system by holding the car on full lock for a few seconds.
my pas pump was making slight noise, this was sorted by doing both of the above
your car stereo will use very very little energy from your battery unless you have it cranked right up. its stuff like head lights and that type of thing that will rapidly drain your battery.
however i wouldnt recomend having your stereo on for long periods of time, ie hours.
outside temp...
