    Thanks,, if I buy the correct connector are you aware if the loom + connector for the B6 Lumber are already there , or is it as you say just a floor-socket in which case is the wiring same colour ?

    you just need to un-clip the outer part off your standard dr-blades and clip these s-line ones onto your standard mounting-brackets,, some-ones pulled those ones off with out the mounting brackets !!!!!!!

    Odd electrical problem

    if they've put tape over the ESP LED,, they would have had to undo the four white connectors on the main board,,to get to it, have they been connected back properly or as anything in that area been disturbed, because it sounds like you've eliminated everything else...

    has anyone had the instrument cluster out at some point might be worth checking the two block connectors on the back are locked into place and haven't just been pushed on making a weak connection...

    I did fit them my self with some help,, it was 2 yrs ago from what I can remember the rears were easy enough but the fronts were a bit of a pain,,, if you look at CMD's thread everyones selling up from yesterday i posted a pict of mine,, you can see the height...

    Yes mate standard SE,,, and yes kept the same shocks,, just put Eibach sportlines on,, there suppose to lower about 45 to 55m,, but actually lower about 30mm, giving 10mm lower than a standard sport,, as for the shocks they've been fine since done,, 2yrs now..

    Bonnet,,, Wings,, Bumper , The people who colour-coded my s-line bits did such a good colour match and job that I couldn't resist having the front end done when they offered to do it for £350..

    are you saying one side looks slightly lower,, or the rears look lower than the fronts,, because the rear arches on a B6 and B7 are lower than the front ones,, as for one side could this be to allow for the camber ,, haven't really noticed...

    Good idea I had the front-end painted on mine because of stone chips, at the start of the year £350 well spent,,, looks mint when polished :) Will defo be trying to attend some off the shows next year,,, as mines going no-where,,, best car i've ever owned !

    would agree with b-buggy, I've got the same engine and a while back had the same symptons,, turned out to be a breather hose that goes from rocker cover into the plastic inlet manifold to the right of the engine .

    Dust in the dials....

    Be very carefull,,, if you knock the speedo-dial even slightly it won't work properly and will shuddder through trying to read the speeds,, read about this on audizine and decided not to risk it and the immobiliser is built into the instrument cluster..
