thanks all think that could be another option now then but i have seen a pretty nice 1.8t a3 which is pretty loaded so think i may be heading that way. thanks again Gary

do all the early b6 a4's have the multitronic box or did they change as iv found a 1.8 t (163) auto but it doesnt list what box it has?Its on an 02 52 plate. cheers

iv been looking at the 2 liter versions really as they are the best on insurance for me roughly in your opinion will it be better than low twenties around town eg 21-22 ?

will be front wheel drive probably when you say poor how poor are we talking becuase in my current car im currently getting 20,21 mpg around town .

i think it was 73,000 but there wasnt any tax with it.what sort of things should i look out for when i go to look at one once i got rid of my current car.

how high would be to high for mileage? I wouldnt mind a quattro to be honest but just want to see whats around first and i have to try and get rid of my lex.Seen a pretty nice 2001 shape sport t with pretty much every extra but its 4100 so not sure if thats a bit high price wise?

lol yeah i have to admit alan partridge does come to mind lol the main thing for me is the fuel economy is evil on mine so thats the thing that iv pretty much decided on getting an a3 but just want to know inr real time are the 1.8 turbos better on fuel than a 2 liter lex ,what sort of figures...

Ohhhhh thats just made the decision a million times harder lol i love the lex to bits but iv always fancied an audi lol Think at the min i just gotta way up the running costs etc and try and judge on that .
