As Jim says wash marring is pretty much unavoidable, the key is to make sure the pre wash/wash routine is gentle enough to only induce light marring which once a year or so will only need a very light polish pad combo to remove.
I would recommend you get yourself two buckets with grit guards...
I would firstly try giving the blade a good clean, also clean the screen and try sealing it which should help reduce the friction of the blades without effecting their performance.

Try espauma revolution or bilberry is good stuff as well, as Jim says once the wheels have been cleaned and sealed you'll find you only need a wash solution to keep on thop of them.
