I did mine in hammerite black, 500ml offf ebay for £7, i also did the metal protector around the disc, and the outside of the discs as mine are fairly new. Looks really nice, just nice and clean really, i reccomend black! oh and the hammerite is easy to use, no surface prep needed :)

I went to open the bonnet yesterday and nothing happened. It didn't sound like the cable has snapped or anything, the leaver inside the car just pulls back and retracts. Does anybody no how i can pop the bonnet to open further? any help at all.. Thanks in advance

As the first post i bought the two official audi ones off ebay, they cost me £50 mind and £20 to get fitted so £70 in total. However they do look awesome when on, i will get pictures up at the weekend. I belive you get what you pay for!....Unfortunately

Orite mate, i have the same problem, (2.0 tdi) when in traffic the car is stuck in gear one, and you have to yank it out to get it into neutral, and pulls the car forward. I have been told its possibly a gear linkage problem, but most likely the clutch needs replacing. Hope that helps..

Yeh it just needs the Gas re-filling its unlikely it will be anything else. £30 is a great price, takes about an hour...

Sorry mate my data wire is playing up on the phone so i cant get a pic uploaded untill the new wire arrives. The can wires were in the right slots after checking this weekend, and they werent loose. How do i give it a scan? Cheers

Yeh mate it still controls volume/tracks so that could be it...

Which ones are those mate? Ive just had the radio out and 2 of the wires, (fairly thick red ones) have had the insullation stripped back but the main wiring has not been affected, and everything else looks ok... i took some pics but my phone is playing up..

Cheers man. If you look the downward pipes are only tips welded on, or they are on mine atleast. so i will buy that then just get under with an angle grinder and chop the welds off..

Ill get a pic uploaded this afternoon pal, and yeh i think thats on the cards. ive had it out before and you could clearly see wires had been tampered with but didnt have time to look further..
