Little update here too. Made some fueling upgrades and minor turbo upgrades on the wintertime. Did visit the same dyno to see comparable results.
This time it was pretty decent power gains. Unfortunately car went to limp on the dyno but nevertheless it reached 469hp (4800rpm)/768nm(3800rpm). On...
You can also add your custom readings. I ran my b7 3.0tdi 0-100kmh (0-62mph) 6.08, 1/4mile 14.04/157kmh. It is almost 2ton running weight with manual box.
Basically stock.
If you going to full 3". Add atleast good flow cat and some end silencer. I had one that had 3" in and two 2.5" out. Added flap to second output and it droped exhaust noise about -14db when closed. At track they measured before 103db and after the flap mod 89db. It was vacuum controlled by n75...
Grave digging here. I have not been much on the forum lately but i want to make upgrade post to this thread. Last few years i have slowly building my b5 2.5tdi with three turbos compound setup. I have currently runnin just bit over 400hp and i believe there is lot of power left on table. My...
Really old. Race nozzles are discontinued but are possible to order when having bigger quantity.
I think there is some group order going on on tdiclub.com. I actually have one spare set available on AFB bodies.
Yeah I have been running CCWA injectors on my BKN for two years now. Just wondering if they have any spray angle/pattern. Was really pain in the *** to make them work
Hi Bobby, wonder If you know whats the difference between nozzles of 1st gen 3.0tdi (bmk, bkn etc) and second gen like CCWA? Is there any difference in spray angle for example etc? Tried to read your thread thru but didnt find if you changed injectors for your 500hp engine setup?
Well actually you are increasing pilot opening pressure with the pressure pin and thats all that counts actually. Increasing pilot pressure increases also main pressure too. I've seen cars working fine with stock 230-240bar opening pressure and some are running bad idle like i did with the same...
I think blackwagon should delete his post with such big time misinformation.
P970 nozzles are good option for smaller power increase. There is actually cummins nozzles same sized with slightly narrower spray pattern.
Never tested one since those are way too small, but should work even better.

It's good to have feedback and hoping that we can solve the problem. I heard nothing from ben since is send them so didn't know that. Btw No gaskets should be used, only extremely slim layer exhaust paste. But lets continue on private not to continue this offtopik :D
