Anybody? My tires are getting cut real bad. Will the removal of the screw and trimming of the bracket cause a gap to appear?

That means, i can remove the bolt and trim the bracket in without any worries of a gap appearing in between the fender and bumper?

Wouldnt the removal of the bolt and cause a gap to be in between the fenders and bumper? It happened to my old bimmer :( And also, my local specialist told me that the bracket that holds the bolt couldnt be trimmed. It'll most probably leave a mighty gap in between. What tools are required to...
