    can someone help me start my audi?

    I just bought an 1987 audi 5000cs turbo. I can not get it to crank over using the key. If I cross the solinoid on the starter it starts and runs like a dream. I seem to be getting juice out of the ignition switch but nothing to the starter. Any ideas would be helpfull
