    Cam belt change, how much should I pay?

    I was quoted £0 for the labour to replace the waterpump during the cam belt change as there's minimal labour required. This was for a 1.8T engine though, not sure if the waterpump is harder to replace in your engine but £120 seems steep if you're paying to have the cam belt done.

    Scrappage wheels dilemma

    I've been told that as long as the car has a valid MOT when i register for the scrappage scheme then i'm ok. I'll probably hand the car in the day that the MOT is due. I'm going to be getting a basic little car as a replacement so i want as much time with the Audi as possible. :-)

    What's wrong with your current bonnet.? Mine has a couple of stone chips but no dents as far as i can remember. I'll have a look tonight. So would what a good condition second hand bonnet be worth to you. ;-)
