the light is above the centre console. speaker then 2 black sticky up things. the right is the light. i can hear the locks and it all appears fine. ill check my lock on a door that i tihnk i know which on it could be. ill report back! cheers guys

thanks. i have located the resistor and upon testing it it appears the thermal resistor had foooofffed up. i have ordered one so i hope that will sort it (fingers crossed). i dont think there is anything else it could be, could it?
