I had the same problem on mine but part of the issue was the flywheel. once i replaced the flywheel and clutch its still had and uneven idle but not as bad, so i had it checked for a software update from the dealer and there was one available. They had the car for about an hour and it runs...

Thanks for the reply guys, the problem i've got is that i can get the lower arm to drop down in order for me to then seperate the hub and strut. I've unbolted the lower ball joint, but it just stays there!!
