my van did, this was due to build up of derv then would slip like mad then would be ok for a month. Not saying you have a leak but just have a look can you see in the bell housing for any contamination.

The best way is to take it to some one how do tyre and battery tests for FREE. The main high street tyre company do this. That way thay can test you volt and cranking AMP. If you have a multimeter check the volts, should be 12v then check again when engine is started this should be 12 -14v...

Went out Friday to test drive A3 3.2 v6 quattro with DSG box.
Would be very greatfull for any think to look for, test drive went very well car went like ballistic missile DSG box very smooth put a smile from ear to ear but have to waite a bit longer due to car price:sob:. Ricky
