Anyone out there got the the part number for these please. Also if you know of anywhere i can get a set cheaper than at the stealers then please shout out !
Many thanks in advance :icon_thumright:
Well if you dont mind a visor bluetooth device then ive just bought a "Supertooth buddy". Daft name i know but it really is good. Paired with the IPhone in seconds. I know an OEM phone kit would be better but they are quite expensive. £50 is all it costs and at least you can move it to another...
Many thanks for that. I think it may be more to do with Audi Hull not doing a proper service before putting it up for sale as "Used approved" to be honest as it shouldn't have run out after 5 months I wouldn't of thought.
I shall keep an eye on it. Thanks again for your input Mark.
Cheers

My S3 seems to be using a lot of oil. The zausts are thick black with soot and i wondered if there is an easy tweak to fix this or is it just a trait of turbo cars. I never once had to put oil in my R32 in five years of ownership yet i was scooting down the A1 last weekend and the "You havent...
Thanks for the input chaps. My issue is however is that when i start the car the needles and Scales are all illuminated. Just recently when sat in traffic ive noticed that the scales go off leaving the needles illuminated. They have never gone off completely at night which made me think that...
Can anyone clear this up for me please. When using the "Auto" setting for your lights should the dash lights be lit all the time (day or night) or is there a sensor somewhere that decides whether they are needed or not?. If the former is the case then i have an intermittent problem where by the...
Thanks Staz but had a quick look but couldn't find any solutions as such. Very irritating but suppose will have to end up forking out for a Nano me thinks ! :music:
Is there any way to get the Ipod connection in my newly aquired S3 to recognise my 3Gs with the latest firmware?. Have bought a "Dock extender cable" but that doesnt do the trick. Am i just going to have to bite the bullet and get a Nano as well?
Any info as ever much appreciated Y'all
I have heard that after a long drive that its best to leave the engine running for a couple of minutes after stopping before tuning the engine off to avoid any potential heat damage to the engine. Is this "Good practice" in the turbo world?
If this is the case then what would everyone...
Has anyone used the above and if so do they recommend it as a good tuning route?
Looking for something that can be reversed easily if needs be.
Cheers

Thanks very much for the linky :icon_thumright:
Will get one ordered. As for the dock extension cable being able to charge the 3GS, id doubt it as its and ebay special being shipped from HK !!.
Be suprised if i ever get it to be honest mate
Having just traded in my R32 for an S3 im noticing that the S3 has wheel spun in first a few times. Am i correct in thinking that the quattro puts it all through the front wheels until it decides that the rear needs a bit of stability and therefore isnt "True 4 wheel drive" in the same way as...
My car is a daily drive and id like to use a car seat cover to help preserve the seats from wear and tear. Ive looked at some cheap ones in Halfords and they warn to be careful when using them with leather heated seats. Is this really a concern?
Does anyone use covers and if so could they...
Thanks for the info. I will order the extention cable but try the IPhone on its own again. Im presuming the previous owner must have kept all the different adapters as i seem to only have the one thats fitted.
Having just bought an '07 S3 i was pleased to find that it had an IPod connection. I have an IPhone 3GS and wondered if anyone on here uses theirs successfully?. None of the attachments fits the IPhone but you can get hold of a "Dock extention cable" from the U.S which looks like it might work...
Hi all and glad to join the forum. Just picked up an '07 Silver S3 after trading in my MK4 .:R32 ater 5 years of VW fun :racer:
Will no doubt ask some rather "Newbie" questions as never owned a Turbo car before so be warned !!.
Cheers
