I have only had my 2000 1.8t sport for a couple of months but i cant really justify having a car like this for my two mile journey to work every day so its up for sale in the classifieds and on edition38.

I have done before and will again tomorrow. Wondering if the air mass is reading out even though it looks new it may still be a bit wonky!!
Since putting injectors back in after cleaning(with new seals) seem to be getting petrol smell on cold start but no signs of leaking anywhere!
My b5 1.8t doesn't seem to be able to do more than 27-28mpg even if i drive it really sensibly.
last week i sent the injectors away to be ultrasonicly cleaned before that i gave it a really good service with all the filters and plugs being changed,have checked out the ecu with our diagnostic...
Cheers guys, It has done it since i got it not after fitting the decat but if others are getting simular noise maybe its just the way the pipe work is on an A4, it seems to go altright but then i've never had a b5 1.8t before so cant compare.
Was thinking of changing all the small vac/pressure...
My car has a whistling type of noise when on boost that doesnt sound like the normal turbo noise you would expect, i have checked out what hoses i can see for splits but cant see anything and checked that it still boosts to 8psi but it sounds like its coming from the rear of the engine...
My A4 1.8t is a 2000 on a X plate with Awt engine code it's a DBW. Should it have a 3.0 bar pressure reg in it as standard because mine has a 4.0 bar one in it!
Thought i had read somewhere that S3's and such like had 4.0 bar ones not 150bhp A4's
